Best projects for 2012

COSA PSHQSan Antonio Business Journal named the City of San Antonio Public Safety HQ “Best Municipal Project” and KCI “Best Office Development” for 2012. Both Jasmine Engineering projects are LEED certified.

City of San Antonio Public Safety Headquarters, San Antonio, TX

Total Construction Cost:  $50.5 Million
Size:  243,000 GSF with a 200,000 GSF Parking Facility
Services: LEED Enhanced Commissioning

This is new facility serves as the headquarters for both the COSA Police and Fire Departments, replacing their current offices at various locations.    The Design / Build with Bridging Documents delivery method was used, and Jasmine Engineering provided LEED Enhanced Commissioning during all phases of the development and construction process. This project is pursuing certification through the US Green Building Council at the LEED Silver Certification level. This project won the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2012 Best in Commercial Real Estate award for “Best Municipal Project.”

KCI Global Headquarters

This is the new corporate headquarters for Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (KCI), an international company based in San Antonio. The facility is a 219,438 GSF mid-rise office building, with corporate offices, administrative offices, and associated support services. The project is pursuing LEED certification. The Design / Build delivery method was used. This project won the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2012 Best in Commercial Real Estate award for “Best Office Development.”
