First students enter state-of-the-art building this year
Harlandale school district’s new $12-million STEM Early College High School opened its doors to students this school year. According to district officials, the education students get there should open even more doors in their future.
“It’s a very exciting time in Harlandale ISD,” said Superintendent Rey Madrigal, who attended smaller ribbon cutting ceremonies for other recently completed district facilities on Aug. 21. “That’s definitely a facility that’s going to empower our community in the South Side of San Antonio … It’s going to help Harlandale continue to be a leader in the field of STEM (education).”
